My poetic summary of Isaiah 6-11:2

Did you realize there’s 7 letters in “seventy”?
Multiply by 10 to “complete” your “perfection”.
Found the Light to unravel the deception.
Been brought out of the land of Egypt and I am no longer under Sin’s direction.

Through the fear is how I get Your ear.
My heart has to understand to see clear.
Shine my Flashlight to see where to take flight.
Exposing the Night to showcase the basis of my frights.

Firm in my faith or I won’t stand at all.
Whether in the deepest depths or in the highest heights.
Be careful, keep calm and don’t be afraid.
For the Lord Himself will give you a sign that the virgin will give birth to a Son and will call him Immanuel.
(Isaiah 7)

A Stone that causes men to stumble.
Fumbling through life humbled by the Rock who gathers the rubble to create a firm foundation.
Overcoming the battle cries of rival nations.
Ravaging those who devise strategies.
(Isaiah 8)

Spotlight on as The Child is born.
A Son given so governments could find their rhythms.
Wonderful Counselor. Mighty God.
Everlasting Father. Prince of Peace.
(Isaiah 9)

The Lord has finished all His works.
The Light of Israel will become a Fire.
A single day will burn and consume the Enemy’s thorns and briers.
Out of the mire, there will be those who truly rely on His power.
(Isaiah 10)

“A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit. The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him
the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and of might,
the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord and He will delight in the fear of the Lord.”
