Truth (Psalm 104)

Truth (Psalm 104)

A Poem by Apollos
"

Straight from Mt. Zion.

"
Let’s get out the noose because this man talking aloof again.
Got that grin as he thinks him & God are friends...what a sin.
Don’t pretend...where’s the proof if there’s now A Truce?
Praising melanin will only take us to The Sediment.

Earth set on its foundations.
Water didn’t bother at Your rebuke so it fled causing a separation.
Your voice like thunder causing quite the plunder where substances flow into valleys that cannot overcome Your boundaries.
You satisfy the Earth by the fruit of Your work.

Plants are for men to cultivate.
Wine for when it’s time to dine.
Oil to make his face shine.
Bread to remove the dread of being one day closer to being dead.
Man going out to work as he labors till evening.
The moon continues to mark off the seasons.

Lions roar for their prey.
Sun rises and they steal away.
The Earth is full of your creatures.
To display all of Your features.
The sea, vast and spacious, where the ships go to and fro.

It’s like I’m reading straight from Psalm One Oh Foe!

Hide Your face from us and we will put up quite the fuss.
Take Your breath away and we return right to the dust.

Sent Your Spirit and We have now been created.
Sweat has faded.
Debt forgaven.
Graves awakened.
Oh so gracious!

Renewed Your face in the midst of this Earth’s replacement.
Never fazed as the glory of The Lord has never faded as He rejoices on His choices in love He made to produce His Maiden.

He looks at the Earth and it trembles.
Touches a mountain and it tingles.
Ima sing to the Lord all my life.
Even in the midst of strife, Ima give Him that praise that He bought with a price.
My meditation is an appreciation that He’s given me a voice.
The Sinners have to vanish because they thought themselves lavish whilst being the baddest so that’s what makes Him the maddest.

Praise The Lord, O my soul!
Praise The Lord!

Psalms is one of my favorite chapters to read from the bible. So to read this was absolutely fantastic. I am fascinated by how you brought your own twist to it and your persistence to love and see the Lord.

"The Earth is full of your creatures. To display all of Your features." Love this. I feel as though a lot of people have forgotten were they truly come from.

"Hide Your face from us and we will put up quite the fuss. Take Your breath away and we return right to the dust." ...This is just..wow. I literally want to old my breath reading that. It's eloquent in its own nature.

You have truly outdone yourself with this one Apollos, kudos, kudos!!
