![]() Cathedral of LegalismA Poem by Apollos![]() His love is unconditional and His favor is unmerited.![]()
It’s the Wild, Wild West and this dude be walking around with a cross on his chest.
Walked up to the Cathedral of Legalism to have a word contest. “Hey Boy...don’t you realize you’re a Sinner and your life is a mess?” Righteousness has been granted to me and I confess the oppression to like minded men who pray for my progression. “So you stumble and you fall, how could you count yourself as a Son at all?” I have a Father who cleanses me of my regressions and forgives me of my transgressions. “What about the depression? A recession of you actualizing sin’s conception as you fail to live out ‘being’ a Blessing.” I’ve got a Ghost haunting me. His Holiness seems quite fond of me. I guess it’s His reparation for sin’s segregation. He is my hope and my peace. “You’re Pathetic. No one listens to your rhetoric and we know you regret it.” I once erased a hole into a paper because I couldn’t think of how to explain the meaning of Art. Told myself to fill my cart with nonsense and just play the part. Now I can’t shut my mouth about everything I’ve been taught. I dissect reality to expose all the dualities while overcoming the neutrality. That’s why this contest is over you Bigot, you Phony. Overcome my enemy by the Blood of the Lamb and my testimony. I found myself in His Presence and have cleaned myself from all things depraved. Grave clothes have no place for all those under His grace. © 2019 ApollosAuthor's Note
