DebateA Poem by ApollosExpressing the wonders of intellectual refinement.
Debate me.
Debate me. Tell me all the ways you hate me. Say the things that frustrate me. Debased in your humanity I find your thinking basic. I look at darkness for all the ways I can replace it. Grace has laced your name with its taste if you trace it. Fear tried to get me to compromise but I erased it. See that girl walking by and say “Hey Baby”. Tell her I wish my hair was straight but it just stays wavy. Put A-1 sauce on my corn. Yeah I know it’s crazy. Save me. Save me. Father in Your hands sometimes I feel lazy. My gaze gets slightly off and things start to get hazy. Renew me in Your eyes so I can see things saintly. Proclaim Your name, oh Father I praise Thee. Read that Bible daily. Prepare for those who would debate me. © 2019 ApollosAuthor's Note
