What's your story

What's your story

A Poem by Aitikin
"

Just something written after a meeting where someone kind of asked the above.

"

As you flee from the cops
And hide with the nun
You find you're hidden in twilight
Yet constantly on the run

Or maybe you draw a bath
With a fully loaded gun
While your friends hope
That you'll bathe and hunt

Or you go to school all day
With nary a word to say
While you sit in silent protest
To which everyone will contest

Or perhaps you merely see the change
To which you can no longer remain
For it exists beyond your life's range
But you pray it will continue as the same

Or maybe you are none of these
And wish there were something more
Then maybe your time here
Wouldn't feel like such a chore

And when you've thought it through
And given in at last
Let me know your final glory
Tell me, "What's your story?"
