Senseless

Senseless

A Poem by Aitikin
"

So this poem is written from a unique perspective, one that I doubt is possible, but an interesting thought.

"

I walk through this world,

I see what everyone else does,

And hear the same things they do,

Yet this means so much more to me

For while everyone else will feel the ground

And feel their pens touching their papers

I cannot

They taste the gum bouncing in their mouthes

And smell the perfume of the girl next to them

But I cannot

I have no sense of taste

No sense of smell

No sense of touch.

I live my life unable to enjoy a steak,

Or the scent of a beautiful perfume,

Or the feeling of a kiss.

An intersting train of thought indeed But definitely possible. Many people lose one or more senses but Natre usually compensates by improving other senses. I am deaf but my eyesight is good I cope without any great problems but to lose the snese of touch I think would be too much. The feeling of a kiss is something I would miss.
You present your idea in well written proseleaving the last lineto clinch your hypothesis
