Wind Chimes..by Michael

Wind Chimes..by Michael

A Poem by Michael Reisman

Wind chimes blew at two o'clock in the afternoon.

It coincided with a Saturday kiss from me and

My girlfriend on the front porch of my house.

A sign of things to come on a weekly basis.

And so it was three years later, just outside

The wedding ceremony where a familiar sound

Was heard. A first time husband and wife kissed

From that day on and every weekend as the clock

struck two and the wind chimes blew...

My mother loved wind chimes so I have a special place in my heart for them. Your poem brings out their magic and joy.
