As The Tooth Fairy Smiled..by Michael

Janice woke up one morning to find something under her pillow. A baby tooth that used to be there was replaced by a quarter. Just like dad and mom promised her, the tooth fairy would visit. Some time went by as the reward increased to fifty cents. Big change for a little girl back in the early 50's. Eventually the tooth fairy left a dollar bill which made Janice completely rich at that time when the value of that amount could buy a lot of things. She bought her first egg roll at a take out Chinese place and even got change. That was where she met her first boyfriend to be. Jerry and Janice dated into their teen years and early twenties. It was in their mid thirties when they decided to get married. Both parents along with a huge amount of guests attended. They both heard the fluttering of wings which nobody else paid attention to. Two egg rolls were eaten by the bride and groom in memory of how they first met. A dollar bill unexpectedly floated down in front of them as the tooth fairy smiled....
