Summer Rain..by Michael

Summer showers water my backyard lawn.
They pound a steady rhythm on the awning from
Which I am sitting under. An afternoon lullaby that sooths
Me to sleep. The grass and flowers drink from their thirsty souls
As they continue to grow and bloom. My car is cleaned by summer showers
As me and the girlfriend dance around the backyard of summer rain.
