Cathy took courses in healthcare as her desire to become a nurse was her choice of profession. She did well and was at the top of her class in grades when she finished. The next step was to visit various hospitals and start the interview process. After two months of searching, Cathy was accepted by two hospitals, so now the choice was hers. She decided on the one with less pay, yet the more friendlier atmosphere and environment as peace of mind was essential to doing her job properly. During the first year she became attracted to a patient she was attending as he felt exactly the same way that she did. During hospital hours it was very professional, yet after work it became a whole other world. The dating lasted for one year until a former patient slipped an engagement ring on her finger. She said yes to Carl's proposal of marriage. In a way there was a healing of a sort for a lonely nurse and a lonely patient who needed something more than a prescription with a medicine bottle. A fork in the road about a choice between two hospitals made that difference. Case in point in a short love story about Cathy and Carl, where a time and place leads us further down the road to a final stop...

I love how concise this is, to the point. Is this a part of a larger piece? I want to know more about how they both feel and the emotion of the two. Cathy appears to be a strong character who drives herself and is not afraid to make decisions, I would like to know more about her.
