My Favorite Is All..by Michael

We choose pets for they are companions and keep us company.

Most have the fur as some adorn feathers and others wear scales.

I have had parakeets and canaries, hamsters gerbils,

Cats and dogs. Tanks that held fish and frogs, as others

Contained lizards and snakes. Some need to be walked as others

Take care of themselves. There are those that just can be admired

and others that cuddle with you when going to bed.

I pet and fed and loved them all. A fork in the road about

Choosing one or another was not my path. Growing up

 As a kid, I was raised with all. My time was up here on earth

At the age of eighty seven years old. I was greeted by some old

Loving friends of mine who I still care about and love dearly.

Each of us hugged and cuddled no matter what the species were.

As you can now see, in Heaven my favorite is all...
