The Circle Of Love..by Michael

The Circle Of Love..by Michael

A Poem by Michael Reisman

The final push has a newborn emerge as a new life is born.

She breathes her first gasp of air and cried at 8 PM

That Saturday evening. Wrapped in a blanket and handed

To mom, the mother and daughter are now together.

She giggles and plays with her toys in the crib,

Then mom feeds her child as the daughter goes to sleep.

Time passes on as the teenager soon is about to leave

The nest at home. Mother helps her pack and wishes her well.

The now grown daughter finds her own place. A finger is held

With an engagement ring on it. Both mom and daughter hug

With tears of happiness. The wedding takes place as soon a new

Member of the family is invited into the circle of love. The

Daughter gives a final push as a new life is born.

Grandma smiles and cries as the circle of love continues...
