A Poem by Ainslie

I was convinced I was home to you
So when you walked out that back door
With your possessions that last time
Storm clouds took residence on the property
After your cab left
It started downpouring with a thunderstorm you only see in the movies
The house started creaking every which way
The frame started slumping, the foundation cracking
When you were holding her hand
The house started crumbling
Please come back home
It needs renovations
And it refuses anyone else

I really love this. It's so well written! I love that you used a crumbling house.
