Writing bits and pieces of this story, when I get enough I'll put them all together

She sat on the curb by the hospital with a cigarette between two fingers and tears forming in front of her eyes. She could still remember the taste of his lips as she kissed him that last time. Of course he knew he was going, he was the one who downed all those pills. Tears were overflowing from his eyes as kiss me barely sounded from his lips. She sat down on his bed and took his face into her hands. She leaned in, and kissed him softly one last time, and in that kiss she could feel the last of his heat radiating from him. His heart stopped beating after she pulled away, but the faintest smile was left on his face. Tears barreled down her cheeks as she hunched over to hide her face in her hands. His cause of death was suicide and she felt as if she had failed him.
