I want to remember..

Some idea dashed onto my mind, and here it is ^^

I can't seem to remember,

The time from when we chose to live...

To have each other's back.

I can't seem to recall, 

The time from when...

Days was filled with your laughter,

And night ends slowly,

With us holding each other tight...

Now I'm here,

Sitting under the tree,

Looking at our photograph..

Trying to remember things that might have happened,

Or might have not...

Back within the book of history in my mind..

It doesn't make sense;

Though all those memories had lost,

Though our story is one that I can't figure out,

I just can't stop these tears..

From falling down my cheeks..

Why won't my heart stop aching with the thought of you?

 

You aren't here no more...

Not in this world,

It might bring me endless pain..

It might bring me regret,

Still, I want to remember....

Poems are generally free form of writing so there nothing considered as bad or good about it. It all depends on your writer and the message that you want to convey. Nevertheless, this is a good piece to start with. A good read especially for someone wanting to share the longing of someone reminiscing old memories.

thanks, yeah,,its a piece bout feelings of wanting to remember something that we sometimes can't. its based on a girl I knew, one with amnesia. tq =)
