Scattered teardrops

Scattered teardrops

A Poem by aimless_wanderer

Nothing hurts more than being left out,
sitting alone to cry and to pout.
Trickle of fear fills his mind with doubt,
for he does not know what is going about.

Last to be picked in a game of ball,
forced to sit against the school's brick wall.
Tears streaming as he reaches to call,
all in vain for his mind begins to fall.

Alone within a shroud of darkness,
a tunnel of light, he will progress.
For he is a man, not a princess,
and now he swears he will never regress.

Fears and jeers reek havoc on his mind,
forever wishing he could rewind.
For time has put him in a bind,
to search again and again, how to be kind.

Darkness has never known how to cry,
cause without your eyes, all becomes lies.
But he knows the truth, and now he tries,
to make friends without a penny to buy.

Alone the kid who weeps in the night,
bruised by the kids who looked for a fight.
He wished to bring them into the light,
for all in all he knew he were right.
