Heroes

Heroes

A Poem by aimless_wanderer

To become a hero you must have powers,
in order save in the trials by hours,
and maybe save the princess in many a towers.

High morales is the heroes code.
Being good carries a heavy load,
for he must hold true on this long strenuous road.

So is a heroes rise from a spider's bite,
or a fatal wound from a gnarly fight?
Or even a fall from great height to make you take flight?

So do villain's one-up from the heroes start,
or was it a fight to make one-another part?
possibly, but we'll never know what lies in either's heart.

So earn the power of speed to travel by foot,
or create fire to turn all to soot.
Make villains run or make them stay put.

Fear not for he'll always be there.
To save you from the blood thirsty bear,
and to make sure you will does not tear.

The ends never justify the means,
no matter how the situation seems.
So ignore the facts,
heroes aren't only in your dreams.
