Maybe

Maybe

A Poem by Nameless
"

Towards you

"
In a whirlwind of emotions, I find myself lost,
Confusion and doubt, at what's worth the cost.
Perhaps it's love, or maybe it's not,
But a feeling emerged, in a tangled thought.

Victor Thornfield, a name in my mind,
An impossible connection, we're destined to find.
Yet the words escape me, I can't explain,
This inexplicable feeling that's driving me insane.

In the depths of my heart, there's a poem to write,
A story of emotions, in the day and the night.
But the words are elusive, like a fleeting dream,
Yet I'll search for them, in the moon's silver gleam.

I find that's how poems are for me too, bouncing around in your head, hard to pin down... it's almost like you need to sit around and wait for them to be born. Some just never come out... you certainly captured that feeling very well, even though I don't necessarily get the references. The rhyming was consistent and added to the flow.
