I, Alone UnderstandA Poem by NamelessHear me out
In shadows deep, untold stories lie,
As Victor whispered, "You can't go far." With heavy hearts, we tried to comprehend, The pain in his eyes, the wounds that won't mend. "I understand," I said, case closed with a sigh, Yet, in our hearts, questions still did pry, On the other hand, Ivan turned away, Refusing the explanations, come what may. We all were hurt, a web of emotions spun, In the silence, a battle silently won, For in this tale of pain, we did find, The complexities of the human mind's bind. In our shared hurt, we sought to mend, Those untold stories, a message to send, That in our vulnerability, we must stand, And together, heal, hand in hand. © 2023 Nameless |
