Stepping out onto the stage my footsteps echo.
Standing in the spotlight, I stand naked.
No clothes, no make-up, no masks -- just my bare self.
A crowd before me, I only see one.
I only see the vibrant angel I need to hear me.
Singing, I sing my heart out.
I sing for the world to hear me,
but I only need one to listen.
With my song I do not bellow, but sing louder.
Pieces of my skin gently fall to the ground
as each word released is a part of me.
Now shouting the words, my skin crumbles.
My body deteriorates, my soul is all that's left.
Flying, I fly to the angel's side setting a kiss upon the cheek.
I fly above the heavens forever waiting for the angel's hand.
