A Bad Mood

A Bad Mood

A Poem by Angelica

Laughter explodes from my babbling mouth
around the people whom I love,
but forever still does it stay in my shut mouth
around the people I don’t care
As you are one, so with your absurdity
don’t try to bring a smile to my face
or I’ll land a sweet punch on yours.

For I don’t need your silly sympathy
just leave me to myself as my emotions
flare up and down this incoherent ride.
I have my problems as does everyone else;
I’ll have to fix them on my own,
but everything is alright.
It’s all ludicrous lies.
