Just Listen

Silly kids spew words of love everyday,
but love for anyone is not something I easily say.
Love is powerful and shouldn’t be use so likely,
if I used it so easily I might as well have some god smite me.
My heart has love for many, but is true to only one.
Yet, unrequited it is and has me undone
I’ll always have that one love for first true love
is hard to come by as it flies like a lonely dove.
So please listen to things I have to say
for I love only you, and you’ll hear me one day.
