Intractable

A sea of electrons
flows freely to and from
as forces attract and repel.
Your pliable hands
forcefully pull
stretching me to you will
as I’m molded to your liking.
Yet,
the more you pull
I start to crack
as the electrons
are set rigid
not meant to be molded
so many
times over.
I’ll soon break
if this doesn’t stop,
laying a pile of shattered pieces
in your hands.
