Shivering Ears

Shivering Ears

A Poem by Angelica

Little boys’ desires not pastoral pleasures spill
like drool trailing from their mouths. Unrealistic
intimate dreams open to surrounding demoralizing
peers. Tainted ears sit hearing, shivers go up
and down the spine pitying any girl who must
sit through little boys’ conversations.
