I've Got Nothing For You

I've Got Nothing For You

A Poem by Angelica

Pesky flies surround me as they pinch and bite
sucking away my blood; their hands caress
my skin while their mouths try to flirt their way
into my pants, but all they see is a piece of meat
as all I see is a pack of moronic wolves.

Tied up to a chair a knife is pressed against my chest,
but not a word leaves my lips while tears fall like
rain from the clouds in my eyes as there are no ears
to hear me, but rubber walls that bounce the words
right back to me while these wolves laugh in my face.

I never asked to fall so hard, but I did gladly giving
my heart away without asking one in return. So there
he stands with my heart attached to his foot unknowingly
crushing it with each step he takes as he walks farther
and farther away along with the light that brightens my
dreary days.

Here I sit tied up to a chair, a knife pressed against
my chest, but they forget I already gave my heart away
as I love him so much for he is so amazing as he flies free
above the clouds into the light so they shall never get
anything out of me as I’m already gone from this body
and lay in the dark waiting.
