A Rose.

A Rose.

A Poem by Angelica

A rose, how tender and beautiful,
Even attached to painful thorns.
I wish to give you all the world’s roses,
For one cannot compare to your beauty.
Though your thorns may hurt me,
I will stay through the blood,
Always holding on.
The world sees a torn basket,
But within lies these roses,
The beauty that is you.
