Few minutes

Few minutes

A Poem by Ahsan
"

the poem raises the question that once a student of Seneca asked about Life and time. I thought perhaps in this world, where a fast paced life is imposed on us, this thought might seem relevant

"

Few minutes is all we have,
Few minutes.
These minutes count us
Yet we count few minutes.
Few minutes to turn on the tv
Few minutes to travel
Few minutes to empty our bins
And few minutes to shatter our dreams.
Few minutes to kill few minutes.
Few minutes to end few minutes.
Few minutes is all we have,
Few minutes.
Few minutes to strengthen our weaknesses
Few minutes to find our mind
Few minutes to create
Few minutes to destroy
Few minutes to think that we are alive.
Few minutes to announce that we are dead
Few minutes to render our debts.
Few minutes is all we have,
Few minutes.
Few minutes to brush our teeth
Few minutes to walk the street
Few minutes to socialize
Few minutes to survive
Few minutes to voice our mind
Few minutes to feel
Few minutes is all we have,
Few minutes.
Are they enough?
Are they not enough?
Who can tell?
In just few minutes.
