Seven Seas

Seven Seas

A Poem by kenzie evans

She drowned in
cheap whiskey
the friction
between
two tongues
and
bedsheets

but
gasped
for old
shirts
of a lover
his half
empty
words
and
herself
at
the bottom
of the
ocean
