Novels.

Novels.

A Poem by kenzie evans

I left the bible when I prayed for years.
I screamed, and begged, he couldn't hear.
I don't have patience for mysterious ways,
I picked up a novel and we parted ways.
If things happen in life, I'm well aware
that it's from a miracle, not a prayer.
If I've offended you, I apologize,
we believe what we need to, to live our lives.
Some people talk about me, say that I need to find God.
If you love him, great.
But I love novels & sinnin' so I'll risk the odds.
