Hi.

Hi.

A Poem by kenzie evans

I didn't want to hurt anymore,
so I burned all of my nerve endings.
But now, I feel no pain nor pleasure,
I feel no touch the world is sending.

I didn't want to feel anymore,
so I burned all of my emotions.
But now I feel no fear or joy
in the middle of a commotion.

I didn't want to cry anymore,
so I laughed until it was fake.
Take that, Jesus. Lay it all on me;
see how much this brick wall can take.
