Blame It on the Shore.

Blame It on the Shore.

A Poem by kenzie evans

I ran from the shore,
to big cities with plenty of streets,
maybe not covered in snow,
but no matter where you go,
you'll meet people who hate you
for one reason or the next.
You blame it on this town
and push it away to forget.

I ran from the shore,
and found a city I'd call home.
But there, I found no comfort,
and found myself alone.
So pack yourself right out of here,
start looking for the best,
Not saying you're anything like me,
but good luck finding happiness.
