I Love You.

I Love You.

A Poem by kenzie evans

You,
you're of infinite worth to me.
I'd sail the ocean,
all 7 seas
to show you how much you mean.
Us,
we're perfect together.
Can't break us,
we're forever,
'til the Earth turns to dust.
Me,
I love you more than poems can explain,
I'd never cause you
any pain.
I am yours, & forever will do.

Until the last stanza, there really aren't any "perfect rhymes", or if they are my first two reads didn't pick up on them. It kind of adds an extra little swing to the last stanza. I like it. There aren't enough optimistic poems rolling around, anymore.

Thank you for sharing, and keep writing.
