Today,

Today,

A Poem by kenzie evans

I decided that love is best kept simple,
and that all faces are better with dimples.
I decided it feels good to laugh out loud,
and that not all faces judge me out of a crowd.
I decided that hate is best kept quiet,
and that love comes with a price, but you can't buy it.
I decided that grudges are better forgotten,
and not all bruised apples turn out rotten.
I decided that your hand is the sweetest to hold,
and that I wouldn't mind holding it 'til we're old.
I've decided love is best kept, not lost,
and that all choices have a cost.
