Like Liquid

Like Liquid

A Poem by kenzie evans

Like liquid,
like lies,
flowing from those perfect lips,
imperfections fluctuate and die,
& leave the lonely,
& keep the cute,
and sound off the bold,
& kill the mute.

She whispered to the sky,
and he let her words float, and die.

He lives like liquid,
a living lie.
Blood from the broken lip,
he spoke of love,
he let love slip,
and the echo sighs.
