Finding place

Finding place

A Poem by kenzie evans

I struggle to see, to find some light -

here I am, stuck with fright.

I wonder, though my eyes are blind,

I see no place, I feel no time.

I hear whispers in the distance -

I push forward with persistance.

The voices fade & disappear,

but I feel difference in the atmosphere.

With my sight still gone, I try to remain strong,

then something takes control.

I feel the reasons start to unfold -

then something clicks in my mind.

I see a place, I feel a time.

As I wake from this dream,

I know my purpose in this "grand scheme."
