I Miss You.

I Miss You.

"
Don't point your finger at me
You told me forever.
But, damn baby,
we got caught up in some stormy weather.

The smell of cigarettes & Axe,
the last reminders I have left.
You stole my heart,
such a grand theft.

You hurt me, broke me
but I miss you so much.
You think you were angry?
Tell that to the wall I punched.

I am really gonna miss
your fingers in my hair,
you laugh, and your smile,
And your warm, calming stare.

Guess this is what I get
for finally falling in love.
Your hand just fit so perfectly in mine,
just like a glove.

But I won't worry,
I will let go - in time,
It'll just take some getting used to;
Knowing you're not mine.

Very well put my friend, I feel you have spoken for a generation of people. Heartache and credence are now rife to seal those inside. Nice flow and imagery, well done!
