The Good DoctorA Poem by JinxThe boy shuffles into the room, jerky movements, shaking hands, eyes screaming wildly about the room. Doctor asks what the problem is" “I can’t take it, it hurts too much. Sadness, eating away at me on the inside.” Doctor says, yes, obviously there is something wrong, let me help you. Medicine should do the trick. You’re free to go! Doctor smiles, his good deed done for the day, he feels accomplished, having fixed a problem. Filling the prescription, he pauses, wait" What was his name? © 2011 Jinx |
