Remember when you were small, 

you would be crying about something that

happened and it would feel like the end of the world 

to you. And i would wipe your tears

and tell you to taste the salt each tear left. 

Those moments left sweet imprints. But where are you 

now to tell me the same words I told you 

eight long years ago? I miss you.
