welcoming the nightA Poem by <3Sparks ignite the sky like dimmers on the rise, but still the sun lets loose its share as the dull moon cradles the cold night air. Oh, and darkness takes hold!
Crisp winds grace the black expanses; deep as the ocean, dark as its lowest depths. Small cracks and snips wring from the towering trees; rustles of leaves like white noise.
Hold on tight until the sun comes through, breaking through the moon, blinding out the stars, fading and relighting the whole world, but the lights can not stay on forever.
