Long Ago, But Not Far Away


Not so long ago,
The complexities of life
Were not the same
As when we were children…

The games all played,
The falsities told,
Reek havoc on the soul and mind…

I wish for the simplicity,
Hard to attain…
With the complexities of all involved.

The baggage carried,
The harm done before,
All weighs heavily...

Despite all help,

Despite any therapy,
What is in the mind stays forever…

All we can do is hope,
That our fate is not always
Wound up in what we are..

Life is what we make of it,
And though some have a distorted view,
We do what we have to…

And live the life we choose,

To do what we have to do,
It is up to us…

Life is a dream, we chose to make true no matter how difficult it is.
We have been some bad cards but we have a chance to change anything before us,
just can never give up no matter how bad it looks or how much it hurts.
I think life and love both go hand and hand.
Life is full of love and love is full of life�so we have to make the best of it.

Ain't that the truth... if only we could stay innocent to the world when we were care free and the toughest decision was who's house to play at... You are so write also in that we make life what we want, we can choose to be miserable or deal with the troubles and concentrate on the good in our lives.
