Soul Wandering

Soul Wandering

A Poem by Amanda

With my heart and mind

At rest, I let my soul wander

It soars through time and space

Searching for what is to be

Venturing into the vast sky

Glazing the heavenly glow of the setting sun

Colors brilliant of varying hues

Golden orange, radiant reds

The oncoming dusk and twilight

Tinges of purple, deep blues

Not worrying what the future brings

To live in the now and be happy

With what this life has to offer

Serenity reigning in my mind

The rhapsody of love growing around me

Being at peace, heart and soul

The light from within shining

Radiating as brightly as any star

Forgiving what is past and continuing

Rising from the ashes of that past

Vibrantly renewed…

A most vivid and descriptive piece of soft flowing verse

love the use of color thru~out and the serene feeling

of harmony of holding the moment~ Quite lovely indeed!

A much more optomistic poem. It is indeed nice to realease the soul, and to let it do what it must, to float gathering up what it is and and letting go, letting it be . very good words, thank you...raining

Amanda, this is very beautifully written and expressed, the design, idea and
depth of pondering, to relive memories of flying, soaring astral skies,
I really enjoyed the way you employed hues and vast spirited imagery, Awsome poem

Very positive and uplifting read. Love the colour changes throughout and especially the ending.

Wow ...This made me think about a dream when the soul wanders in it's own world and losing all fear and sadness.
I like this very relaxing and well penned poem :) .

I love the colors Amanda. I relate everything to water, colors, or music, or all three. I find the colors metaphor very bright and uplifting. Somewhat bringing out the inner child.

Living now. Letting go of the past and not worrying about the future. Such a wonderful and inspiring notion. I have a hard time keeping that thought in place, but it does stand true if one seeks to enjoy this life. Holding on to the past truly is not beneficial, only in the lessons learned and reflection of fond memories. Worrying about tomorrow, only brings about what it is we fear.

I think we think too much. Yep.

This is a great piece. Live now. Love now. Yesterday no longer exists and tomorrow will always be today.

Bravo!! Wonderfully creative and inspirational. Flows beautifully.

Well done A!

OH! it is just so AWESOME!
The imagery has been painted so beautifully with your words, I was really flowing with my emotions while I was reading it. The pic and the formatting in indeed a part of it!
But I loved the deepness in it the most. About learning from life, from past but continuing with the future too!
Very thoughtful and great as always :)

You have painted a beautiful and colorful picture of the positive side of life, uplifting in all that you have described, wish we could all see life as colorful as you have expressed.
