AFTER NOTE: I actually don't hate him..I will always love him in some ways, but there are times that he gets to me and at the time that i wrote this, I was not liking him very much....so I guess hate is a very strong word for what i feel toward him. to forgive is something that i think will eventually happen, but i will never forget....AT

Amen, sister!!! Stay strong and know you are worthy of kindness. An excellent kiss-off to someone who has obviously caused you pain. Forget the hate, though, it turns into ugly and you don't need that inside of you. Understand that we all come from different places and some of us do not have the ability to be kind. Forgiveness will serve YOU better in the long run. Much love~~
Not the greatest of poems I've ever seen, I have to admit. But it certainly manifests one thing: it's a huge pile of raw feelings, ripped form your heart. No fancy words to dazzle the reader, just one big explanation of how you are you, nothing more, nothing less. If only the rest of us could see ourselves in that light.
very strong and personal piece..... you show your strength to move on and nothing let anything hold you back... lots of good imagery of emotion... all together a very well done powerful piece....
I think we need to introspect as you have elequently done Amanda. What you say is so understandable, for how can we really ever feel the same about someone who has caused so much pain? From my perspective, we don't, and it doesn't mean that we lack capacity for forgiveness, especially when another's attempt
robs us of self - worth.
Determination, strength, spirit and light will heal wounds
It really is so unfortunate when people hurt each other, but I can sense the survivor in you through your verse and the courage to move on with life.
Another person can only change you if you allow them to. I certainly see and feel the anguish in this piece as anyone reading it would...time to move on Amanda, don't beat around the bush...life is far too short, but forever is a long long time to be harbouring hatred, best not to let it fester.
You are a wonderfully loving human being who, like everyone deserves love in return...You go you good thing.

Amanda this is a powerful message from a very strong woman. When someone has hurt you with contemptuous words it can cause such anger, which comes from pain within. I applaud this statement of your strength; as well as knowledge that no one can ever change the beauty inside you with their caustic words. Please remember that the real you shines through to all that want to see truth. This seems to have been a very cathartic write for you, and now you are able to let go of those that try to bring their negativity into your life! Well written my friend ~ Jude xoxo
Amanda, as hard as it may seem, it is better to forgive and forget, then to hold a hatred within yourself, it just makes us so miserable toward everyone and everything, although it is good to talk things out and get them off our chest. No one can change the the person we are, you are so right in that statement. Good expression with this poem.

Amanda- an emotional undertaking, a release of sorrows, the facts are laid to bare.. as the reader
draws to understanding- the evidence of heartbreak becomes clear, yet true self remains unchanged,
an act of release- to relinquish suffering, the weight carried as bourdon- being able to stand up and
walk away- perhaps when faith restores one will be flying again, unbound by determination- well done,
such passion draws the reader to dwell up the importance of strength and preservation, thanks
