Scorpion in the Sky

Scorpion in the Sky

A Poem by Amanda

I saw a scorpion in the sky

With its heart shining brightly

It called to me, saying to be free

Forget the past, look toward

The future, unafraid

For you will get there.

Though your path is uncertain

And there will be unexpected moments,

Believe in yourself, as I do

For you are strong and determined

You will accomplish what needs to be done

Only you can do this for yourself.

I will take to heart

What the scorpion advised

For I know deep down inside

That this is the truth

And I need to be reassured

That everything will be fine.

how self empowering! sorry this seemed to have gotten lost in my read requests... i'm glad i found it. The irony that i find it shortly after writing excuses.. similar message, written in 2 different ways. its up to us, to make our choices to change what path we go down. To have self confidence, and over come our fears through strength. great write.. the scorpion in the sky is creative imagery.

much love n' respect

The scorpion in the sky..Astrological perceptions.. to gaze into the stars and see
self assurance in the ever sparkling light of what it means to be encouraged by eternity
and those things that set the mind in timeless thought.. dweeling upon higher reaches
of the galaxy..to see the scorpion in the sky..this writing has an astral feeling
beautifull written and expressed.. certainly sets the readers heart adrift.

I will take to heart

What the scorpion advised
For I know deep down inside
That this is the truth
And I need to be reassured
That everything will be fine.

I was really taken with the title which drew me in. (The Scorpions -- Rocking Like A Hurricane -- are on tour in UK this year) I think the first line is lovely, it just mesmerises...at first I didn't think of the conctellation, but imagined a sort of dream or vision scorpion. The msg that goes with the theme is positive and uplifting. Scorps are such odd creatures to look at ... how astonishing nature is as a designer!

Brilliant insight!! Yay!

Yes, the scorpion is correct!

Forget the past, look toward
The future, unafraid
For you will get there.

The key here is "unafraid". That is where it all unfolds in front of you!

Thank you for sharing such an inspirational piece! Bravo!
