Like the flowing stream

The change of the season

The winds of change

Travel through time and reason

 

As the wind blows,

It goes through me

Taking with it the pain and despair

Leaving my heart and soul clean

 

The paths that are opened

Are there for me to choose

Up to me is what I decide

For the winds of change is upon me.

I felt a person who had just survived something big, or climbed a difficult wall, and now feels the opportunity to be free. A good powerful wind has always, especially off the ocean, has always given me a sense of freedom. I liked this piece, alot. Rain..

A wonderful tribute to the winds of change. This conjured up a fascinating image in my mind of one standing in the midst of a howling windstorm, arm raised in salute to the powerful winds of change, "taking away pain and despair, leaving the heart and soul clean". Very refreshing... well written.
