The Questions of Change

my life is changing...

change is coming

am i ready for it?

am i strong enough?

can i handle it?

 

will it effect the world

as i know it?

do i want to stop it?

am i going to survive it?

 

do i really want to know?

do i have a choice?

have i forgotten how to live?

do i want to be alone?

 

all are valid questions...

the answers are not as clear

though i know the consequences

of knowing what they will be

 

my strength, my will, my determination

are what will define what will be

and no one will ever take that from me.

Wonderful write.

Any kind of change - be it good or bad, requires great adjustment. And for some situations in life, we just cannot prepare.No matter how much we imagine how things will be when the change happens, the real event is a different story altogether. It is the time when our strength, will, determination are put to test.

I totally agree to you.These are the questions that linger in many minds out there, and as you said - the answers are not very clear-.The poem is very expressive, successfully conveying the confusion you (or anyone else for that matter) faces.The ending is great as you've showd your strength...
