For The Kids

For The Kids

A Poem by Alice In My Own Wonderland

  We are mistreated.

  We are stomped on everyday
  By the higher class.

  We are the forgotten ones.

We are the kids who no one likes.

  We are the nerds.

  We are the goths.

  We are the same.

  We are used by you,
  And beaten by your friends.

  By today we are not.

  Today we will rise.

  Today we are worth something.

  Today we have our revenge.

I've always been different, and just now am I beginning to be proud of who I am, because this era is full or new choices and new beginnings. I enjoyed this because of the "Today we will rise; Today we are worth something; Today we will have our revenge". It's amazing how true this is. :] Props to you, Alice!

Im one of the kids who get thrown it the trash, no joke. No one really ever liked me and my odd ways. I never talked, i did all my work, i kept close to the teacher. I got beaten again and again!! I went to high school and i fit in but people from my old school still play the same tricks and me and the trach a good friends. i love this poem. It is time for revenge!!

I'm seeing a great theme of rebellion running through some of your more recent work. I'm liking it.

So good. Exactly what you have to do, go out there and prove them all wrong by just being yourself all day long and succeeding past the limits they placed on you. Don't be defined by a bully, you define yourself as who you are.

Four words: story of my life. Pefectly captured, and beautifully presented. I have never been a fan of mincing words, and I love the direct approach you have shown here. Well done.

Nice topic. But it needs more, it seems to lack something. Its too direct.

I freakin loved this! I know how it feels to feel this way, and when we take our revenge they never expect it. Outstanding job!!!
