When you kiss my

Lips, I can

Feel a real spark

Between us.

And when you

Stare at me

That way,

I can feel

My heart beat

Faster.

You are everything

I could ever need.

And I love you.

I need you.

Love poems are never cheesy. Unless, that is, you make them fall in love and get married immediately after meeting. That's just crazy, haha. Anyway, great poetry displayed here. Very heartfelt.

Short yes--- cheesy no it describes your feelings universal feelings are never "cheesy" I am so happy that I have found someone who writes happy poems, poems with a positive message your writings are a godsend after reading poems on here that are sad and speak of ill-treatment and depression "Victim poems" I have labled them and they are a part of life a sad part an unwanted unlooked for part of life. Whereas yours are full of light and hope and happiness I much prefer yours to those but without the bad there would be no good.

all love poems will have that touch of cheesiness, but they are in a small group of writings that are allowed to have that feel to them lmao!!!! trust, me take a look at a few of mine and you'll get the same sillybumps you get when read the old "roses are red, violets are blue" poem lmao!!!i did like tthis one, it is constructed like a tear of joy dripping down with the wave being "I need you"
love is a powerful word on its own, but when you add the "I" and the "You" they become the most powerful thing on the planet in terms of human psychology, and emotions. so be very careful, i know how it feels to have the words sitting on the VERY tip of your tongue every time you are around a certain someone lol, but holding the three big words back, until it is right, could make it last forever.
(sorry bout that little rant) now back to the poem at hand, this was great loved the flow, and i love the "Spark" imagery, great job! thank you for sharing!
