She Came

She Came

A Poem by agentnoah101

She came on the wings of a bird of prey
She came in the broad light of day
She was a thief, and her intent as it were
Was to steal his most valuable thing

She came in the full light of the sun
She came  not caring of the crowd all around
He, the victim, would never know what hit him
She was to steal his most valuable thing

She came to take it from open hands
She came and stole it from under his glance
He willingly let her, for love her he did
She stole his most valuable thing

She came whether she knew it or not
She came and threw his soul into passion
For he had given it to her in its entirity
She had stolen his heart. His most valuable thing
