sweet remember

she stands
away from me now
she feeds off of the garden
that nature has plowed

she dances a solo dance
her freedom is hers to keep
she rubs up against
my awake and my sleep

she allowed me to cross
her sweet unbeaten path
she allowed me the bliss
of knowing her laugh

she gave me
some of that sweet remember
when she invited me to come in

a treasured memory
given from one heart to another
i love her - completely
her sweet remember -- will always be my lover
