Waiting for Baby Jesus

My belly’s swollen

But I’m more than just pregnant

So let me tell you something

That you should never forget

See I’m in the process of doing my job

I’m providing the food and the light

For my baby Jesus

The one that will be crowned sir knight

So keep your drink and your smoke

I refuse to poison before the birthday

So keep all of your violence away from me

I refuse to let him live his life that way

Even when I sleep

I keep one eye open

I know that baby Jesus will be all right

It’s not just something that I’m hoping

My belly’s swollen and I’m on guard

For the future of my family name

And though I’m uncomfortable at times

I’ll never get tired of the waiting for baby Jesus game
